Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This is a template Privacy Policy provided as a starting point for Ethmaya Beauty Luxe. It has not yet been reviewed by a licensed U.S. attorney and should not be treated as final legal advice or a compliance guarantee. See the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
1. Who we are
Ethmaya Beauty Luxe (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and provides makeup, hair, and beauty services in Arlington, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
We follow a minimization principle: we only ask for what a booking actually requires.
- Full name, email address, and phone number when you create an account, book an appointment, or contact us.
- Appointment details: selected service, date, time, and any notes you provide.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
- Basic technical data (browser type, device type, pages visited) collected through privacy-conscious analytics.
We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or precise geolocation. If we introduce online deposits in the future, payment details will be handled directly by a PCI-compliant processor and never stored on our servers.
3. Photo & video releases
Photos or videos taken during an appointment are only published in our portfolio if you sign a separate Photo/Video Release Form or check an explicit, non-preselected consent box. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
4. SMS & email communications
Appointment confirmations and reminders may be sent by email or, if you separately opt in, by SMS. SMS consent is never bundled with any other consent and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP or contacting us directly. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in every message, per CAN-SPAM.
5. Your rights (CCPA / CPRA and other state laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
6. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months and then automatically purged. Appointment history is retained for as long as your account is active; if you delete your account, appointment records are anonymized rather than fully deleted, where retention is required for legitimate business records.
7. Third-party services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to run the site and (in the future) the booking system, for example, hosting, email delivery, and media storage providers. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are contractually required to protect it.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and services evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
10. Contact us
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected] or +1 (682) 321-2975.
